Hi,

I’m Hoang. This is my messy attempt at taking a break from my online life and living more in real life. I’m a mom of two, a recovering Instagram addict, a lover of nature, of architecture and all things visual. In September 2022, I decided to embark on a yearlong project where I take myself offline (almost) completely so that I can live my life more fully. You can read about it here.

In my previous life, I’m certain that I was a British person; perhaps I might’ve gone to France, but I could see myself living in the UK, for sure.

In this life, I’m a writer, editor and finance person who dreams of one day having a novel published.

I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband, and my kids, Lily (age 7 9), and James (age 3 6), who brings the most joy in my life.
